At least some members of Patriot Platform clearly had something beyond the extremely misnamed and much abused phrase ‘valid concerns’ on their mind when building up to their recent protests.

At least one person is understood to have sought to pass on details to counter-terrorism police after people heard the far-right activists boasting in the local pub that they intended to go to Dover and “attack Muslims”.

Unfortunately it seems that neither the counter terrorism police nor standard police had much interest in this tip.
