The incomprehensible events of contemporary times

The unbearable inexplicability of modern-day living where on one hand the despicable US president - a position once known as the leader of the free world - is openly threatening to commit war crimes in the war against Iran he chose to start - and indeed a potentially nuclear-based genocide - whilst the Easter bunny stands nearby, applauding.

At the same time, his deputy, Vance, openly interferes with foreign elections whilst complaining about people who interfere with foreign elections.

This doesn’t prevent Trump finding time to ramble on at a group of confused 5-year-or-so olds about how sleepy Joe Biden used an autopen.

And on the other hand we have the despicable Iranian regime spreading their propaganda in response via the mechanism of LEGO based memes, including references to a real life cohort of rich and powerful paedophiles and rapists, the scale of which were really only imagined by the dangerous conspiracy theory advocates known as Qanon before they turned out to be somewhat true, except that they actually meow involve the de-facto political leader thatthe Q movement venerates. The resulting Iranian state propaganda is then, on occasion, shared with perhaps surprising enthusiasm, including on occasion, by liberal voices on social media.
